Food For Thought

The design brief was daunting but very exciting. We were to come up with a thoughtful and aesthetically pleasing (read: pretty) solution to cover up the holes in the concrete dining tables (initially intended for indoor potted plants to rest in).

This is our take: first up -- a series of happy jars bringing with them messages to uplift and brighten. Hope, Joy, Peace, Love. And accompanying these words are handcrafted felt animals in air tight glass jars sitting on a bed of artificial grass.

Also, we headed to the workshop to handcraft a wooden mountainscape -- a series of purposefully stained wooden mountains with miniature wooden trees to be placed on the larger concrete tables.
